For the first time in a digital format, Professor Mark Jensen delivers a comprehensive course in the understanding and treatment of chronic pain using clinical hypnosis. Part 1 takes you through the neurophysiology of pain and theoretical underpinnings of how hypnosis works to treat and change the pain experience, complete with a practical demonstration of how to use this understanding during a clinical interview. Part 2 is a full masterclass in how to use a combination of motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral approaches combined with clinical hypnosis to help clients manage pain. This section is conducted as a clinical demonstration with explanations along the way. Part 3 is theory and demonstration on how to work with clinical hypnosis to change the pain experience.
